Ethel Kate Bowen-Wedgwood
Ethel Kate Bowen-Wedgwood (Baroness Wedgwood) (1869-1952) was a student of Rudolf Steiner's work and a friend of George Adams, with whom she visited Dornach in 1919, the first British persons to visit there following World War I. While there, she met with Rudolf Steiner several times. She was keen to see Steiner's writings and lectures translated into English, and translated several works herself, sometimes with the critical aid of George Adams. She had seven children with her first husband, Josiah Wedgwood, 1st Baron Wedgwood.
