Christmas is coming but Anna and Michael’s village is cut off by deep snow. They’re worried that Santa Claus won’t reach them, so they send him a special wish.
Santa Claus hears their wish and brings the village a surprise. Can the neighbors work together to reach their Christmas gift?
A beautifully illustrated festive story about hope and community spirit, with a dash of traditional seasonal magic from much-loved illustrations of Maja Dusíková.
(Ages 3 to 6 years)
“This is a beautiful wintry story...about the power of community—and a cup of tea!” —JUNOMagazine
“Illustrated with warm and hazy paintings that remind of traditional Christmas tales.” —Foreword Reviews
“Watercolors in soft-focus lend an intimacy to what reads like a folktale, with little animal friends in the illustrations for young children to find. A sweet message about the meaning of Christmas giving.” —Kirkus
